About Darth Vader

Darth Vader is a dog, a Maltese to be exact. He weighs eight pounds, and he’s entirely white. He looks almost precisely like a large snowball with legs. Vader, as he’s known to friends, is two years old. He’s a city dog, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where he lived with Joe for a year before moving to Colorado in 2006.

Beneath his canine facade, Vader is better known as an immortal galactic ruler. Vader hails from the Orion Nebula, where he earned a reputation as a ruthless despot and tyrant. Darth Vader’s genius in the field of astrophysics is matched only by his considerable skill as a space fighter pilot and jazz crooner. Vader’s first visit to Earth was roughly 3000 years ago. Better known in those days as Anubis, Vader oversaw the building of the pyramids at Giza. He played a leading role in the French and American revolutions, and is rumored to have authored a number of political treatises under the pen name Voltaire.

In late 90’s, Vader decided to take a vacation, incarnated as a little white dog, and decided to shack up with Eileen and Joe for some much-needed R&R. When not at the forefront of galactic politics and subtly influencing human history, Vader spends his time chasing squirrels, harassing the neighbors, chewing on things and, most of all, napping.
