About Eileen
Eileen is a special education teacher in Colorado. She’s originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. Eileen graduated from Ball State University. Before moving to Colorado, Eileen taught in Jamaica, in Utah (on a Navajo reservation!) and in Colorado Springs. She moved up to the Denver area in 2006 so that she could marry Joe.
Eileen likes to do just about anything as long as it’s outside. She loves to hike, and is an accomplished mountaineer; Eileen has summited nine Rocky Mountain peaks in excess of 14,000 feet. She’s an avid road biker, and regularly bikes road trails in the Rockies. Eileen also loves to camp, snowshoe and snowboard.
Music is huge for Eileen. She enjoys everything, but she’s particularly addicted to reggae, the Grateful Dead, and most importantly, the tour band Widespread Panic. Eileen has been to 97 Panic shows!
Eileen’s greatest passion is travel. She has traveled throughout Europe and Scandinavia, and she’s been on adventure trips in both Mexico and Costa Rica. Eileen has also visited every state in the continental United States.
